a man at the absolute top of his game when it comes to acting. Today, we're joined by Sam

Heughan. I definitely struggled a lot as an actor and had highs and very low as well. I

had a bit of a lift at the door and I was really struggling, but also great, great highs. And I think

that's also grounded me. I think if I had had success at an early age, I would have been a complete

mess. I had a moment where I was playing the audience were laughing and I got there,

and I got them and it was such a buzz. And at that very moment when I was like, I stopped,

I was like, oh my god, they're with me, they're laughing. I've got this. That moment was so,

I guess, magical and so exhilarating. I thought, yeah, I think I understand this now.

But it is interesting because there can be a hundred thousand great comments and one that's bad,

and you're like, oh god, yeah, and you take that to heart. I've put my career first

through my whole life, so I think at times I've let personal relationships go to one side. So I think

I do have a small group of friends or people who are close. How did I think? Because I maybe have

more success because I guess there's just more to play and there's more happening in your life

that you maybe want to protect or you want to control. You know, I'm a very big fan of Sam's work.

I think he's absolutely brilliant. When I said he was coming on the podcast on my social media

a couple of days ago, man, the reaction, particularly from you, Outlander fans, there's a lot of you

and you seem very excited indeed, which is great. I thought he was brilliant in S.A.S. Red Notice.
