Welcome back, everybody, to the bonus content.

This is sort of like part two, the conversation with Matt and Jack.

And we're just going to keep rolling here because we think this is going to be helpful to an awful lot of folks,

but particularly to a listening audience of young men. So one of the things I wanted to ask you, and then we're going to let

you ask a bunch of questions as well, is are your peers, are you, were you, are your peers optimistic

about the future? How do young guys in their 20s feel about the world and the future, their future? Is it optimistic? Is it a little threatening?

Really? I mean, what I would spin off of is this kind of dialogue that we had

earlier about what it means to be present. And I think that as we think of the future, it's

it's Pandora's box. There are so many variations, so many options, and it feels like it feels debilitating to dream sometimes.

Because it's so hard to know what it looks like.

That's on one side, I think, of the spectrum.

And on the other, which is I think, you know, I've found

myself in both spaces. I think on the other is this idea of building my own kingdom. I'm planning

my own, I'm telling my own story here. I'm not allowing, I'm not allowing God to tell my story.

I'm not okay with ambiguity. And so I'm going to articulate

what this needs to look like down to the letter. I'm going to plan and I'm going to store

up for myself treasures here. And I think that's the temptation in this other world where there's

so much ambiguity and so much uncertainty, it feels so easy to swing and to get to this space over here where I need to control.

Yes, of course.

If that looks chaotic and uncertain, well, then I at least I can take care of this, right?
