The first goal or the primary goal, or however you want to say that, is not answers.

That is so frustrating.

I know that to be true, but I don't like it because it feels, no, no, no, you don't understand, man.

I need an answer to this thing.

Developing this skill, this conversation with God and the different tools that help you build that.

This is like right near the epicenter of the Christian life.

Okay, so after the Teton's family vacation disaster, which was really hard because we had planned it for a year.

And, you know, this was something everybody was looking forward to.

Sam's family, your family, Luke's family, Stace and I, and we were all invested in it.

And frankly, a lot of prayer went into it.

It's not like we were casual about this trip.

We don't go casually into joy anymore.

We know that you've got to protect it and fight for it and pray and all that.

Ask for his guidance, all that.

So when things really blew out rather than just being bummed about, well, you know, there it is.

I mean, really glad, you know, the ER visit proved to be great and he's fine and we get to go back and go to bed at, you know, two in the morning. But I'm driving

from and I'm like, what was that about? What was that about? And one of the things he said was

absolutely fascinating to me. He said, it's very difficult to secure multiple fronts at the same time.

There was multiple breakdown on many fronts.

And there was no failure.

There was no failure of prayer.

He said, that's just hard to do.
