It should be different every year.

We shouldn't, you know, I think when we get stuck with, no, no, no, every summer we have to do this.

It's non-negotiable.

Well, those are the trips that I think tend to feel stagnant or just less than over time because we're trying to recapture something or we're doing it out of duty or obligation. And so really the offer on the table and what we're all trying to do is,

God, what do you have for us this summer, for us, our hearts, but also for our families?

And then are we willing to step into that new thing with God for joy?

And are we open enough for him to say no?

We open enough for him to redirect plans.
