When I was heading out the door, they kind of caught me, caught my shirt tails up, and they pulled me back in, and they said, what are you doing?

I said, A.A. doesn't work. It may work for you. It may work for you. It doesn't work for me.

Now, get out of my way and let me go do what I need to do.

And they said, well, have you tried it our way? I said, you know, what's your way? I've been doing, this doesn't

work. I read the steps. That doesn't do. Yeah, I've tried to pray. I've read the first few pages of the

book. It doesn't, it doesn't work. He said, why don't you do what we ask you to do and then see how

it works? And so I thought, well, you know, I'm going to go drink anyway, so why not give it a shot?
