Acceptance and surrender

by the essence of spirituality.

Truly, the essence of spirituality

is when you're done surrendering

or done having anything you need to surrender, and you're done letting go, and you're done accepting,

but there's nothing inside of you that's rejecting. That's true, finished. The meantime, the path

is one of surrender and acceptance.

But people regularly misunderstand what surrender and acceptance are.

Some people who write us and they say, surrender and accepting is it mean I should be sitting

in my house waiting for a job to show up.

Sitting alone, waiting for someone to love, sort of something to do.

That is neither surrender nor acceptance.

That's a total misunderstanding of life, of yourself, and of the process is under acceptance.

Let's get it straight.
