Hello and welcome to another edition of the Byron York show if you've ever listened

to this podcast you know we don't do chit chat it's the no chit chat podcast we get right

into it and today we're going to get right into it with representative Jim Jordan one of the

most prominent Republicans who worked on the impeachment issue, he was

against it, in the House of Representatives, who is now following very closely the Senate trial that's coming up in a few days.

Representative Jordan, thank you for joining us.

You bet, good to be with you, Byron.

And I'm sure everyone can hear you are not in the same room with me.

You were somewhere driving around the fourth district of Ohio, is that correct?

I am, yes, vaccine the very northern part of our district, not too far from Cleveland.

It's a long district, you could probably spend a lot of time driving, so what I want to do today is instead of talking about the

news of the moment which will change by the time anybody's listening to this, I

want to go through the actual case against the president and this is something

that that in truth a lot of members of the Senate had probably not paid as much attention to as others

who have been involved in this certainly not is somebody like you or representative Radcliffe or

Zelden or Collins or a few of the others who were deeply

involved in this impeachment thing.

And basically what this impeachment thing.

And basically what Democrats did was they had all these hearings, they wrote a 300 page

report making their case against the president and then they distill that into a nine

page articles of impeachment that's the thing they took in the in the blue folders

carrying it kind of like it was the Magna Carta over to the Senate the other
