I would hear the Lord's prayer and I would flinch.

So-called, quote-unquote, rationalists or scientific absolutists

are the ones telling you you have to, like, hide in a bunker for the next century

or you're killing grandma with COVID.

Which version of you is better?

It's really not hard. The first sip from the cup of

science turns you into an atheist, but when you drain the cup all the way to the bottom, God is

waiting for you. When I'm on that train of nihilism, it is a train to nowhere. It leads nowhere.

It is empty. It is dark. And it is nothing matters to nowhere. It leads nowhere. It is empty.

It is dark and it is nothing matters, including my life.

There genuinely are people under cover of pretending to be religious,

kind of try to undermine people's basic moral intuition in the immigration debate. You get a lot of people who will use certain passages from the Bible to say,

well, like, you can't be a Christian and believe in borders.

You have to dissolve your country into soup if you really want to honor God.
