Simply, our true identity is defined by who God says we are. When you're self-protecting and

self-promoting, then you're never going to operate in the truth of who you really are. I was asking, what would Jesus do to end drug problems in a neighborhood? He would go find the drug dealer and probably go eat dinner with them. And so that's what I did. I was in uniform and I asked him to spend the weekend. At your house. Yeah, he spent the weekend. I believe that God's inviting me to hear. Why aren't you walking towards that? And I promise you the reason you're not. Fear. You're afraid.

And I promise you the reason you're not. Fear. You're afraid. When the enemy comes to Jesus, the temptation is, if you are the son, it's an assault immediately on the identity that God has given him. When we believe the accusation and deception, we empower the enemy. The enemy doesn't have the power until we give it. We have this crisis today, I believe, of people not really living in their identity.

Despite all the little trolls out there. That's right. We don't just get back. It seems like the modern world today often defines identity by superficial things like your sexuality, your job, your career. And I shouldn't

say it's totally superficial that these things do matter. But what would you say our true

identity is defined by? Well, I mean, simply, our true identity is defined by who God says we are.

That's simply it. Who does God say that I am? And that very powerful phrase of I am, when you ask God, God's identity and God says, I am,

he's the core of existence in life itself. then the question would be then to the Lord,

who do you say that I am?

Who do you say that I am?

Not what do I do, not what did you make me for, but who do you say that I am?

Because being always informs doing, always. Whether you agree with that or not,

what you do is because of how you see yourself, what you believe, who you believe yourself to be.

And it can't be avoided. That is, you are going to give away what you believe yourself to be,

who you believe yourself to be.
