My name is Matt Jay and on this show, we're here to share our experience, strength, and hope,

through a series right now where I'm talking to my friends, the people who I think have some pretty

good sobriety and I think have a story that you can identify with. Last week I talked to John I,

who is in our little group of, I'd say, the sponsorship

family.

He's either a grand sponsor, a great grand sponsor.

But now I've got somebody who I consider to be sort of a peer.

I think we came in, John, at about the right, about the same time. Yeah, this is one of the

Hi, Matt. It's great to be here. Yeah, it's great to have you. When I saw you, because you're,

this is what's perfect about recovery is, were United Nations people of all ages mixing together races and stuff I always thought that you had like many many years on top of me when I first met you and no we got about the same amount of time yeah we are we are we are peers as you said yeah look at that, the people who are getting the coins and the monthlies.

We're the peers.

We go to the same meetings.
