In today's episode is I need a favor. In today's episode I literally need a favor from you. So sit back relax and please help me out. So if you've been a

long time listening to the show, you have been through this up and down

roller coaster of being accepted in the iTunes Network. Now when I say accepted in the iTunes Network, I have no

problem admitting the fact that I was aggressive in some of my marketing practices.

Right, I know the more people that hear my voice that hear this message that connect

with the podcast, the more reach I have and the more lives I can impact.

So when I first started, episode I think 37 was called Malaysian click farms.

And what that episode was about was essential to the fact that were literally, or are still literally,

places overseas where you can pay for promotional help on your podcast.

Now, I stumbled upon those because I started looking and researching how to gain traction.

Are there marketing companies that specialize in podcast specifically?

And much to my chagrin, I didn't find any

that maximize that pool, but what I did find were people

overseas that were able to help quote unquote promote podcast.

So of course I have no problem sharing with you. I tried out one or two and if it was one or two maybe it was three or four. I don't want to over or understate the number of people that were helping me promote.

Right I would go to a site called F- V E R R and I would look and see

podcast promotions and I would grab one or two people and pay for what's called a gig

G I G as I paid for this gig for what they're promising in their write-ups and descriptions are they had multiple

websites that they owned that had tons of traffic and they would post links to

your podcast and guarantee you good ranking.

And so I did it. Didn't feel no harm no foul me at that point, right?
