Got some fairly good feedback the other day when I did a solo podcast, so we're doing

one again today.

And what I want to talk about today is kind of a case study

in reporting on the Trump administration.

It's a story that appeared in Politico on Friday evening, September 6.

And the headline was this, Air Force crew made an odd stop on a routine trip, Trump's Scottish resort, that is a reference

to the Turnberry Hotel and Golf Course that President Trump owns in Ayrshire, Scotland.

So this Air Force crew makes an odd stop there on a routine trip.

The story is this.

A lot of U.S. military planes fly between the United States and Kuwait and they stop and refuel in various places and in this case in a case earlier

this year political said an Air National Guard crew was flying from the US to Kuwait, and they stopped

at what was referred to a out-of-the-way airport called Prestwick.

And then they stayed overnight at Turnbearing.

And the political reported that Democrats were looking into this because they thought it was quite unusual.

It was unusual to use Prestwick. It was unusual to purchase fuel there, it was unusual to go to

Turnberry and spend the evening there.

So in June the House Oversight Committee chaired by Elijah

Cummings writes a letter to the Pentagon looking for information and much of this

Politico story is based on that.
