Summary

Tammy Jo Alexander had a hostile home life and, once she became a teenager, soon began running away in an attempt to escape the toxicity. She frequently hitchhiked across the country– sometimes with a friend but oftentimes alone. When she left for the final time, no one reported her missing. It wasn’t until 2015, when an old friend began to wonder what ever happened to Tammy Jo, that her family realized that something sinister had happened and filed a report. As a result, law enforcement were finally able to identify New York “Caledonia Jane Doe” as Tammy Jo Alexander.
