Well, I have boringly been sitting in front of the computer writing a speech, an important

speech for later this year, but on our last show I said I was going out to Santa Cruz Island, and I was able to do that.

My daughter and I took a ferry ride over to Santa Cruz Island, 30 miles off the Santa Barbara

Coast. It's one of five islands that make up the Channel Islands National Park and it was unbelievable.

On the boat right out there, we saw two humpback whales when we docked. When we docked, we saw two bald eagles.

Then as we went on this big hike on the bluffs,

we turned this corner and there was a little island fox in front of us.

It's the only place in the world, this fox.

It went from, I think first a regular size fox, but over evolutionary time, it became this

smaller version about the size of a house cat and it was an incredible day. I highly recommend it to anybody in California to head out there.

There are campgrounds and so next time we will definitely spend more days out there because there was so much to explore and see you could go
