How are you doing? I love the Hot Goss. I don't know why it makes me happy. Listen, obviously,

as the host of the show, I am personally more invested in our Wednesday episodes with our

great guests and our ability to learn from them and have conversations as well as our

Ask Nick episodes on Mondays to learn about our audience and talk about relationships. But I

get it. Listen, I come from this world of the Bachelor and it is fun to talk about and

reminisce with your friends. But it's just like I'm still still doing this.

All right, here we go. It's the Hot Goss. We got a nice little lineup. We thought we'd do it

as a little differently, being a obviously recapping Caitlyn's season of which I was a big part of

as well as my friends, my dear friends, Jared Haven and Tanner. What the fuck is Tanner's last name?

Tanner Tolbert? Fuck. And then I actually asked my friend, Brett Vergara, to come back.

For those of you who don't know, Brett is a Bachelor Superfan. He helped us recap, I listened to

your heart. But he's also, it was a big part of the Diversity Initiative that you saw last week

that flew around Batchenation. I got to talk about getting a lot more diversity with him,

Batchenation. It was signed by myself and what is it, up to 80,000 signatures now.

And then three days later, they announced Matt James is the first Black Bachelor, which I'm sure

they had conversations before. Obviously the timing was what it was and I certainly believe

that that initiative played a role. And I think that goes to show that the people can influence

real change when they make a concerted effort. So I wanted to bring Brett back on to share a little

bit about that initiative. And we're going to talk about obviously about the casting of Matt.
