and I know that for white people being called racist is like the worst thing you can say to them and they get really uncomfortable and defensive at the suggestion that they are racist.

That's called white fragility. Look it up. Because again, it's not enough to be racist. To just be not racist. You have to be anti-racist. But more on that that later so I've been a person of a female
