Hello and welcome to 15 minutes to freedom.

I'm your host Ryan Naidel, and today's episode is entitled, Outlasting the Suck.

What I mean by that term is a simple fact that at any given point in life, we're faced with challenges

that we inevitably are given the opportunity

either overcome or run away from.

And I look that as a part of life that sucks.

You know, it's a part that's not fun.

It's a part that's really pretty fucking miserable

if we're just honest about it.

And so it's our nature to typically run from those things

that are difficult.

You know, we avoid them.

But if we're real with ourselves,

the only way to truly experience any sort of progress

is to run towards the part of life that you

absolutely despise the most. In my life for instance I'm currently taking boxing

lessons. I am fucking determined to excel at this sport. At 34 years old, never having previously

boxed, never been in a fight, never having previously punched my fist before, I feel old,

slow, uncoordinated, and sure shit unable to perform the way I want to.

It's honestly fucking miserable.
