For a moment you're unsure what to do, turning about, you scan the horizon for any sign

of someone else to confirm what you're seeing, but there is no one to be found.

After one final look behind, you step boldly into the forest and beyond the first line

of trees.

But something doesn't feel right.

Perhaps it's the sudden shift in temperature, all the way the hairs are now standing up on

the back of your neck.

It's hard to describe, but it's almost as if the forest itself is watching you.

In a panic you spin back round to leave, then gasp in horror.

The road has gone.

In fact, all of it has.

The rolling hills, the golden fields and the bright blue sky.

All of it has been replaced by nothing but a deep and dense, birch tree forest.

You spin round frantically, trying to figure out where you came from just moments ago, looking

for any sign of your bike, but it's no use.

All around for as far as you can see, it is nothing but tree after tree stretching out

before you.

Hoverdly you pull your phone from your pocket to call home.

Come on you say with quiet frustration as you wait for the reception bars to appear,

but no matter how much you wave it above your head, the bars don't materialize.

And now you are really beginning to panic.

You feel it hijacking your body, first as a tingling at the extremities before it begins
