And I am joined here. I am Alex Branson, and I am joined here by a much more famous person, musician, author, fellow Candleman, Keith Buckley, musician, author, fellow candleman, Keith Buckley, author.

I, up until now, thought your first name was Branson.

Oh, no.

This is already a nice, nice thing.

I have one of those, uh, I have one of those white guy last names where you just become

your last name and your first name.

Like hit.

I would also like to say I just refer to first names as front names.

So pre-names.

So this is the third book I've written and I've made that mistake.

Not too great.

Keith Buckley is the author of the, of, uh, two novels, scale and watch.

Mm-hmm.

And we're going to talk about writing books, because I got a book coming out and I figure,

so people keep asking me, people keep asking, when people ask questions about...

Everyone's asking.

When people ask questions about books or when they want to...

I wanted to do this because I feel like the conversation about writing books almost has too much like mysticism around it.

And, you know, people treat it like soothsaying rather than...
