Hey, everybody, welcome in.

My name is Chris, and I'm going to say some stuff about sports. How the heck are you? Thanks for listening today. We've got a fun one as the fantasy preseason chugs forward. How many drafts will you be doing over the next two weeks? I will be doing a bunch, some of which I will probably wind up caring about a little more

than others, but I am right there with you with a bunch of drafts. I feel like we are starting

to develop some pretty good plans, some pretty good lists of players that we want if we can

get them at the right price. It's going to be a very fun draft season. Maybe you've already done some drafts.

NFL training camps are basically coming to an end.

Fans, I believe, I could be wrong, but I think by this point, fans are maybe just done

visiting training camps.

You're not allowed anymore public.

Some teams will have some media availability for the next few days

leading up to the final exhibition game of this preseason.

Some teams probably won't.

Of course, whether or not the media is allowed to talk to the players

doesn't really stop the endless babble because the echo chamber must be

filled. But my point here is that a lot less of the observation will be firsthand. It is good

for our purposes that from late July until basically now, beat reporters at least get to watch

practices.

They can tell us who is running with the ones, who looks like they got hurt at practice,

et cetera, et cetera, even if they aren't always going to know why someone wasn't running with the ones or how badly someone got hurt.
