I mean all this stuff going on around the world right now and it's it's almost a real but you and I were talking before the show and that we want to kind of help everybody give everybody like an outlet. You know, hopefully we can take your mind away from that for you know 45 minutes to an hour. Yeah, yeah, I did want to bring that up and just mention it here guys. We're not going to spend a ton of time talking about coronavirus or what's going on. You have plenty of other input

coming into your minds here. So feel free for the next 45 minutes to an hour. However long this podcast is put your phone away put away social media. Hey, we're going to talk some NFL. We're going to talk some fantasy football and just get our minds off of what's going on here and hopefully be a distraction for you. So we've got a dynasty startup draft here going on today tags. Now we're going to run through this. It's just tags night today. So no guess so you guys get us to for a little bit here tags. What do we got here with the settings for this dynasty startup.

Yes, we're going to try and make it a little bit deeper than the typical drafts that we do like the mock drafts we're going to do one quarterback to running back three wide receivers one tight end to flex spots. It's not super flags. We're going to do two flex spots and then we're going to do eight bench. I did not put any kickers in here. I didn't put any defenses in here.

We just want to make it all about the players. It's a 12 team league and this is done on our multi user draft function guys. We wanted to make sure we told you about it because it's a function of the draft simulator that we do.

And it allows you to perform quick mock drafts just like our draft simulator. The only difference is that you can practice it against other human beings just like you would in a normal mock draft. It's an easy to use interface.

I can click start if you're ready for this. Let's do this man. All right. So Bobby always complains about where he's landed. This is totally randomized. And you guys can see if you're watching on YouTube, you can kind of see the draft the layout and how everything works.

I'm going to start draft now and it's totally randomized. I have no idea where I'm picking. So this is where Bobby would complain. I've gotten the one for pick. You got the one seven pick.

One seven. Okay. All right. How do you feel about it? I'm actually good with that. I think I miss out on some of the like top main players there, but I'm fine with that. At least I'm not on the turn. I hate being on the turn.

Yeah. Yeah. No, I'm kind of with you on that one. I like being at the turn. I know that some people are like, oh, you're always want to be at the top of the draft. But there's a long wait. If you pick at number one or number two, you have a long way until it comes back to you. And the elite of the elite will be off the board. So

this is really tough for me at one for though. I mean, I have Devonte Adams and Deandre Hopkins extremely close in my rankings. Hopkins. They're the same age right now.

ECR is telling me that Hopkins is the pick according to the experts. And it's really tough. I mean, I might want to go Hopkins here. Obviously we've seen Aaron Rogers trend down in a little bit of the last couple years. And to know that Deandre Hopkins is tied to Sean Watson for quite a while.

I think I actually might lean Hopkins here. So I'm going to take Hopkins at 104 and hope a decent running back falls to me in the second round because I'm going to pass on Zeke.

Yeah, for sure. Hopkins is a good pick there. So just to bring everyone up to speed. I'm now on the clock at the one seven Christian McCaffrey went one oh one.

Sequan Barkley right after Michael Thomas tags took Deandre Hopkins Tyre kill Devonte Adams and now I'm up here at the one seven. Now I do have Zeke on the board. I do have Alvin Camara, Dalvin Cook.

There's some really good players still here on the board. And I do have a little bit of a gap before my next one is up. So I got to kind of just take a look at the board here.

This was my guy going into last season and I'm going to I'm going to lean in here, even though there's some uncertainty with James Winston not being back in Tampa Bay next year.

Chris Godwin here at the one seven makes a ton of sense. He's only 24 years old still. So for me, Chris Godwin at one seven in the dynasty startup. I really like him.

And I'll take him here and hope that enough. Like you said, hope another running back falls to me.

Yeah, I can't really fall to him. The Godwin pick because like if you look so what I've done is I went back and I looked at the routes that he has Chris Godwin running and it's just Bruce Arian's essentially has a running the same sack routes that he uses layer Fitzgerald and Arizona.

And we all know Fitzgerald had like a resurgence in his career once Arian's took over as the offensive coordinator. And that was later in his career. Chris Godwin's only going to get better, you know.
