We've been away from this case a little bit, but we're going to get back to it a little bit.

That's Dylan Mortensen you see in the thumbnail. Remember, she talked about the male that was

5 foot 10 wearing all black, wearing a balaclava, and you can see that's the hoodie he's wearing with just his eyes.

But the thing she said that was so damning for the defense,

for the defense attorneys of at then the unknown perp.

Now we know it was Brian Coburger,

was the bushy eyebrows dressed all in black

so we're going to look into this this evening and all the things that we learned about the prosecution

and all the things that they did and all the things that they didn't do and all the things they didn't tell us because

they didn't believe certain things and they perhaps they didn't want to believe certain things about

this investigation they wanted this investigation to be very simple against this man.

You know, and according to the probable cause affidavit,

Dylan Mortensen's terrifying ordeal started at about 4 a.m.

Hugh was woken up by sounds from the floor above her, which she first assumed was Kaylee

Gonzalves playing with her dog. It was simple, innocent thought that shows just how safe she felt in her own home.

A little later, she told police she heard what she believed was crying coming from Zana Connoodle's room.

Then a truly chilling detail. Dylan reported hearing a male voice say something along the

lines of, it's okay. I'm going to help you. The affidavit notes she wasn't completely sure

what was said, but the sound of an unknown man's voice was a deeply disturbing part of the puzzle.
