Sometimes how we die is equally as important as how we live. This truth is powerfully illustrated in the life of Samson.

In our recent studies here on Searchlight we have seen that Samson was a man who had

great potential but he also had huge problems. But today we're going to look at Samson's death and things

are about to change. So let's go ahead and join Pastor John and get right into this interesting study.

Judges chapter 16 verse 27 now the house was full of men and women.

And all the Lords of the Philistines were there.

And there were upon the roof or the balcony. About 3,000 men and women that beheld while Samson made sport,

or literally while they mocked him, made fun of him.

Then Samson, verse 28, called unto the Lord and said,

oh Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me I pray thee.

Only this once, oh God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines who took my two eyes.

And Sampson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood and on which it was born up.

He took one pillar with his right hand and the other with his left.
