| 1:14.4 | Well, D.D. Let's talk about that |
| 1:16.0 | first thing. Because before we dive into some of the fun facts here and the interesting tidbits |
| 1:20.1 | about one of my favorites, I got to know. What are your thoughts on their testing the idea of |
| 1:25.3 | dropping the second day, dropping donuts? Oh, yeah. I know. I heard this. So it's just going to be reprinted as Duncan and they're testing that. But I don't know if, you know, kind of like, do you Duncan donuts? But personally, it's kind of an American iconic brand. I agree. Right? Like even if you drop donuts, I think people are going to still have the same idea that It's going to have the same connotation and reputation. But that's just me. What about you? These companies think about this and they're like, okay, we don't want to be known for donuts, especially because, you know, there's this, there's definitely a mode in America right now where people are thinking about being, you know, more healthful. Right. wellness is having a big, rightfully so and glad to hear it. So the idea of like, oh my God, if donuts is in our name, like, you know, no one's going to come here because I think while we have is donuts. And you know what? You have a lot of donuts. But they have a lot of other food offerings. And I think people recognize that now. They do, yeah. To me, it's not like, I understand it. |
| 2:21.2 | So. have a lot of other food offerings. And I think people recognize that now. They do. Yeah. To me, it's not like, I understand it. Um, so I, like, I don't want to be bothered by it, but I am. Yeah. Because I have like been a fan of Dunkin' Donuts for, my kids are fans of Dunkin' Donuts. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? And they're fans because of the donuts, by the way. So it's like, this is what they know. To me, it's not like Starbucks dropping coffee and just going Starbucks. Like that, like who even, who even noticed? Like there was no uproar about that because it was Starbucks. It's been around for not as nearly as long as, well, probably close, but still not as long as Dunkin' Donuts. And I don't know, maybe it's because I'm from the Northeast and we have a certain affection for Duncan Donuts here. But anyway, I just, I have a little bit of an issue with it. But, you know, hey, this is America. So you do you, Duncan, and, you know, if you want to drop the donuts, so be it. And look, it doesn't matter if you fall on the donuts or no donuts line. |
