And I'm Lauren Vogelbaum. And today we have an episode for you about dungeness crab.

Yes. You know we love doing these seafood episodes, and there was a reason that this was on your mind, right, Lauren?

Yeah, yeah. So Annie and I have been kind of brainstorming Halloween kind of topics, and we've got, you know, a few ones that are directly in store. But then I was like, all right, like what else? Like, we've got another

week before Halloween. What else can we do that's kind of spooky? And that I was like,

crabs. Yes. Some kind of shellfish, obviously.

I think scallops, honestly, are still the spookiest looking to me.

But crabs, especially the long-legged ones, are a close second. And these guys aren't as spooky as they could be.

But their legs do look quite threatening.

In general, I wouldn't mess with a crab.

It's the scuttling, man.

They be scuttling and I don't like it.

Sometimes they get in groups.

Oh, man, the groups, the groups.

It's just they move wrong and their skeletons are on the outside and I don't appreciate it. I don't appreciate it.

But they are delicious. Oh, they're so tasty. And I actually think they're really cute.

Their little faces.

I love this that you're like, they're terrifying, but look how cute though. Look at how adorable as long as they're not, you know, coming for me.

That's fair.
