And today we're talking about Season 1 Episode 4 titled The Great Wave, which I have some

thoughts on.

Some thoughts on what The Great Wave might be.

Maybe we can talk about that later, but Aaron, what do you think of this episode?

You know, I didn't think last episode was terrible, but I thought this was an improvement

over last episode, mostly because if Gladriel is going to be this pig-headed, stubborn,

and kind of like undiplomatic in how she treats her fellow sentient beings on Middle

Earth.

Then she gets some blowback for it.

And I thought her ass getting thrown in jail was about the cold bucket of water that

her high head needed.

So I liked that there were some consequences on that.

I still am kind of like unsure about what they're trying to do with Numenor.

But I liked it.

I liked it better this week.

I thought that the, my God, the dwarves in the show, the dwarves at the height of their

empire, their mining techniques, their, they're pleading with the mountains to return their

breathing, surviving, claps my, the relationship between Durran and Elra and the Durran and

his father.
