We're going to talk about an interesting ruling on the Trump administration's remain in Mexico policy where it looks like some law that was used against Trump is now being used against Biden to nobody surprise.

Sarah is going to update us on shenanigans in Texas, but before all of that, Sarah, you fought a battle yesterday. You fought a battle and it was you were trying to bring a tiny bit of good news and humanity into a really bleak week and month and tell us about that fight. Did you win it? What is going on?

I came home from school one day and a snake had gotten the duckling.

It was not uncommon where I lived. Snakes took out a lot of our critters. I already want to talk about what happened to our chickens that we had when I really, yeah.

2:21.0

Anyway, go ahead.

2:23.0

Fast forward for no particular reason.

We're down in Florida. Also relevant to this is that my husband came in the house after having been in the pool in this little house that we're at and did not dry himself off because he went to the fridge to like get a drink or something.

2:51.0

I did not know any of this came zooming by a few minutes later, slipped fell and really hurt my foot and my knee and I'm sort of battered and bruised.

Yesterday, we decided to take Nate to the wildlife rehabilitation sanctuary because they're permanent residents. It's save our sea birds a great organization here in Sarasota. They put their permanent residents on display so like you can walk through and see, you know, 20 pelicans who have a life sentence.

3:28.0

You know, they generally were juveniles who became pure rats and get tangled up and so they are now living out their lives.

3:37.0

And what amounts to like something between a flat house and a day spa for pelicans and they've got a whole bunch of other birds and anyway, we pack up the car and we're heading there.

3:46.0
