Training for duathlon (run/bike/run) is not as simple as just taking swim workouts out of a triathlon plan!  On the podcast today, we talk to champion duathlete Libs Mitchell (who created our duathlon plans on the MōTTIV training app) about all the nuances of training for duathlon!

What's up, Motivators? Today's podcast guest is Olivia Mitchell, aka Libbs Mitchell. We partnered with

Libs to write the duathlon plans in our training app. The reason for this is she is a top-ranked

du athlete in the world finishing in the top 10 of duathlon worlds twice. She's also

an elite triathlete flirting in and around, having her pro license from Great Britain, which is a

really tough thing to actually get. But she's also a personal trainer who specializes in

really giving people balance.

Her real passion is bringing women through pregnancy in a fit way and getting them back in a very nice, healthy, balanced way.

In addition to all of that, she does one-on-one triathlon and duathlon coaching and is

a total stud in her performances. Like when you see her doing her

track workouts and her hill workouts on Instagram, you're like, whoa, this girl is really, really

talented. So we partnered with her to write a short duathlon plan and a long duathlon plan that are now

And when she ended up submitting them, it was similar to the cycling plan and the run plan

and the swim run plan that we've talked about in previous podcasts with the coaches who submitted

those that I loved how they wrote them.

They were just elegant.

They were simple to understand, really accessible for people because you didn't have to write

things down on your hand, which we talk about with Libs, about why things should just be

simple and effective.

And they're great plans that she put together.
