President Trump used a combative World Economic Forum speech to reiterate his determination to acquire Greenland from Denmark, calling for immediate negotiations while saying he would not use military force.

He criticized Europe and NATO portrayed the U.S. as the world's dominant economic and security

power and warned allies there would be consequences if they refused American demands.

The speech deepened transatlantic tensions already heightened by tariff threats,

market jitters, and sharp divisions over trade, energy

policy, and global leadership. Yeah, not a real good day for the U.S. at Davos or in the world.

Trump revealed himself yet again to be a bully, to be erratic, to be a boor and an ignoramus.

He slurred his words.

He confused Iceland with Greenland.

He told Europe they'd all be speaking German if it wasn't for us.

He said we should have taken over Greenland when Germany took over Denmark.

He insulted other world leaders, made fun of the leader of France, threatened the leader of Canada.

His statement that he wouldn't use force was couched in words like,
