Brother of frontrunner in the Brazilian presidential election, Eduardo Bolsonaro, sat down with

Mario Nafel and laid out a stark picture

of how Brazilian drug cartels may have funneled money into left-wing political campaigns.

He pointed to two key witnesses. One is Hugo El Posho Carvajal, the former Venezuelan intelligence

chief now in U.S. custody, who described cash moving through diplomatic luggage to Latin American

allies. The other is Marcos Valerio, central figure in Brazil's Men Salon scandal,

who has spoken of at least $30 million routed to left-wing candidates just before the

2022 election. A Vesha magazine investigation later traced some of those flows directly to

Lula's party.
