the things that I was able to do, the freedoms that I had, the schooling that I got, and I quickly

realized, and this is probably not good, but I'll share it, but it's like I, I realize that

because you're an athlete and because you're good at something, you don't have to do everything

that everybody else does. And I realized that more in college

because I got to travel so much in college playing ball going to different, you know,

universities and going, I don't have to go to class. Don't worry about it. Okay, got you. Number four,

succeed without winning. Oh, my love, this is,

this is my fan favorite because there is a difference between success and winning, okay?

You know, everybody has a different example and definition of success. And when we lose, I counted that as a win in our book,

because it gave me an opportunity to talk to these kids about life. I fielded at every ball that

was hit to me. I made every play that. Okay, cool. But we win and lose as a team,

but you can walk away from there, say, I gave. Yeah. I left them all the field. That's right. And it's people, you know, coaches today, they do it through yelling. They do it through screaming, intimidation. That breaks these kids down. Now they're afraid. Now that they make a mistake. I want to give this thing of look because I've always told my kids, I've always told the kids I've coached, I've told people that I've mentored and I lead today. I don't want anybody in my circle to live the what if game. What if I would have done that? What if I would have tried that? No, I want you to be able to walk through that and say, I did that.
