And today I have a very, very special guest who needs no introduction but I'm going to

introduce him anyway.

Hey everybody, how's it going?

Thanks for having me on here, Matt.

This is gonna be a blast.

Yeah, it is.

I've been looking forward to this as soon as we announced it.

I think even as soon as we announced it. I think even as

as soon as the outlander was sold, Bears name came up and said he's doing the

music for it, so that's how long Bears been with the show. We'll jump right into some of these questions because I think a lot of the questions I could pose,

you are right here on the sheet in front of me.

So how did your musical journey begin and what led you to writing scores for television shows and

films? Well those are posed as two questions but thankfully the answer is the

same thing. It was the music from television and films that made me want to become a

musician. Ever since I was about five years old, I went and saw Back to the Future when I was

five and I fell in love with these big soaring orchestral themes and I took a little

Fisher-price tape recorder in the next night made my mom take me a second time and I held it up

above my head to record the music and
