So you effectively took a draft pick with two years worth of time on task working with

with more NFL past attempts than every quarterback in this year's draft for a lesser

guaranteed dollar amount than what the number one overall pick a quarterback is going to

command.

When you look at it through that land, it's like, how can you possibly be

adverse to this being something that you're trying as you're transitioning away from

an expensive quarterback contract? Like, it is an awesome bet to place on themselves and him. And they have

conviction in it. And now it's up to Malik and how he handles this opportunity.

And it's up to that leadership group to put the right players around.

before we get into all the draft stuff once again let's just talk about Malik Willis because

I wanted to get to him on the previous show didn't quite happen but, you know, and listening to like different draft podcasts and hearing people talk about, well, the team has to find their quarterback. And this rebuild is such and such in the quarterback. And it all comes back to the quarterback. And I keep telling myself, like, we're lucky, man. And I know that there's no guarantee that Malik is, you know, a star franchise quarterback, but I do think he has that type of ability. And every time I hear those debates and discussions, I think we are so lucky because to me, in my opinion, I think the dolphins feel the same way. They already checked that off the list. Like they checked off the quarterback, which is the first thing that starts with, do you feel similarly and just kind of take
