That's where the unique and rare stuff starts to come in.

Like the Oklahoma game, you've got R Mason Thomas, a top 50 pick, as much juice as anybody

as a pass rusher, converting speed to power.

And he does it from a wide nine position and probably at like 15 miles an hour top speed,

240 pounds coming down the middle of your chest, good pad level.

And he tries to go through Proctor,

and he's just giving him every ounce of energy he's got, and Proctor just kind of suns him like,

we're good right here, fella. I'm telling you, when his technique is right at that size and strength,

it's comical to watch this guy play football.

Just a couple of notes as I continue to watch the film, but also observe trends and highlights

from the draft class.

And Kyle Crabs wrote a great piece, as he is wont to do, about the playing experience of

this Dolphins dolphins class and it shakes

out to 430 college starts across 13 players and listen I ain't a math guy famously never been a

math guy but 300 30 starts already a dyslexic start to it 430 starts divided across 13 players

that's an average of 3 3 bo bo bo boop 33 starts so roughly two

and a half seasons per player here of starting experience at the college level and when you look at a

young team that's kind of that's absolutely in the first year of a rebuild and kind of a restart to

things and jordan rodrigue wrote a great piece on The Athletic about the different phases teams are in. And she classified the Dolphins in a sprint rebuild, which I agree with. I think that's a good classification of it. Go check it out, Jordan Rodrigue, on the athletic. But when you're in this position the Dolphins are in, you need young players to play a lot of snaps.
