And as we're in this stretch to start the season of the Lakers figuring out who they are, what everyone's role is and should be, and how to play together under JJ Redick.

Today we land on Rui.

De Rui is in a little bit of a slump right now.

And after a 3-0 start where he was really helpful, both as a scorer in terms of post defense from the angle we watched that Sacramento game, we got a great view of all of

the happenings in the post and along the baseline and really saw Ruiz contribution and banging with Sabonis and all of that. He's been a little bit lost in the sauce since then. I know he was sick for a little bit. I don't think that's the case anymore, but has been struggling a bit, Dee. So let's dive into Ruiz game a little bit and kind of see where he's at. So what do you see when you're watching Rui these days, Dee? So I just want to say, Pete, like I was just looking at Rui's game log. And we were talking about, like, hey, we should talk about Rui. And it's been brought up by like Stu and the broadcast crew a bunch. It's been five straight games of Rui scoring in single figures after starting the

season with four consecutive games of scoring in double figures. And he did get sick. He missed a

game. But he's been struggling. And so remember last season when you and I laughed about this

offline, a bunch, that idea of like the

Lakers skewing more towards offense and spacing? And so obviously Tori and Prince was the solution

to those problems. Meanwhile, you were like banging the drum in our text thread. Like, Rui's better on

offense than Prince by like,

Rui provides more spacing, right? Like spacing isn't just the ability to shoot a three point shot.

That said, this season, Rui is shooting and it's dipped because he was well over 50%. But he's shooting

46.9% from three, not on huge volume, 3.6 attempts a game.

But Pete, have you looked at Rui's overall field goal percentage?
