There you go. We just jumped right, pushed you into the pool.

Okay, carnival, one time I was traveling through North Carolina, which is where I'm from, with my former wife, and we went to a wedding,

we went to Squarespace some time to kill, so we're driving through the mountains, Blue Ridge Parkway, beautiful, highly recommend it to anybody.

John Dipper has written songs about Blue Ridge Mountains.

Yep, but he's dead, so what's the point of bringing it right? I don't know, I brought that up.

I'm really sad. You guys are driving through the beautiful mountains.

We come up over the hill, and then we just see this huge, like, traveling carnival set up in this field, like a totally, like, magic kind of like, oh, this is like Twilight Zone.

Yeah, it was a little like, there's nothing else around, and all of a sudden there was this.

So we went to it and walking around, and we found this dog, this, like, really amazing little cute dog that was tied up to a tent.

And we asked, and my wife at the time was really wanting a dog.

I was like, I don't want to load a dog up and take it all the way back to New York and drive with it.

I don't know if the dog could be possessed or, you know, whatever, I could have fleas.

And so we were like, she kept asking, who's dog is this? Who's dog is this?

And this guy came around the corner, and he was like the ultimate carny, like, just a total, like, missing teeth.

Kind of yellow, jaundice eyes, really bad skin.

And he's like, oh, that's my dog, that's a good dog, but I can't take care of it because I'm on the road, and he doesn't like it on the road.

So you take it, and it just turns into this exchange between my wife and the man where he was trying to say, you should take this dog.
