What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius.

And last night, Lakers won a fun preseason game in Vegas, 129 to 126 over the Brooklyn Nets.

In a game where we got a bit of a surprise in the starting lineup,

and I'm sure we'll talk about that.

But we ended up hitting 23s in that game.

We took 55 of them.

But the first half, especially, I thought, was a bit of a dress rehearsal.

Only Jared Vanderbilt was the only player who did not play who I assumed to be in the Lakers

rotation. And you can see it. You can see kind of the shell of what the Lakers are going to be

this year. And it was very exciting, man. 75 first half points. Certainly some questions, but I really

really like the foundation. They looked good. and I think that even without Vando, we saw, like you alluded to, the shape

of a team that could play a variety of different ways.

I was very interested in Darwin's substitution pattern.
