My Lord and my God, I firmly believe that you are here, that you see me, that you hear me.

I ask your pardon for my sins, and the grace to make this time of prayer fruitful.

My immaculate mother, St. Joseph, my father and Lord, my guardian angel,

intercede for me. Almost a hundred years ago, a young priest was doing his retreat in Madrid,

in Spain, and he'd been asking lights.

He'd been asking you, my Lord, to discover the purpose, the meaning of his life, even inside his priesthood.

He knew that there were something bigger than himself and a mission, a sense of a mission, that he didn't know.

you finally spoke to him

Dominé, Udvidium, Jesus, Holy Spirit, God the Father, help me to see what you want for me,

and help me to want what you see for me, both things.

Because my vocation is not just static, waiting for your word to be uttered.
