This week we're doing something a little different.

Instead of the news of me, Clint Brinion saying we're sharing two interviews.

The first is with Lisa Jones.

She's a writer and activist.

The power of people sharing their own stories is really like one of the greatest things

we're witnessing right now.

And for people to act like that is in a form of activism is ridiculous, particularly

when you are a marginalized person.

You being bold and saying this is my story and this is why I matter.

When you join in with hundreds of thousands of other people doing the same, that is a form

of collective activism.

The second interview is with New Mexico's Attorney General, Hector Valderes.

It's a very, very powerful position depending on how you use the law.

And so it is really the way I describe it.

The shield and the sword of the rule of law for the citizens or each state.

I also just wanted to check in and reflect on how the show has developed and grown over

the past couple of years.
