0:25.3	had his first court appearance in Manhattan court, Manhattan State Court. He's already been
0:33.4	to federal court. And this is where some of the tug of war goes on.
0:40.5	Clearly, the Manhattan DA's office under Alvin Bragg
0:44.3	believes that they should get the first dibs at prosecuting Luigi Mangione.
0:50.5	And, of course, the feds intend to take a second bite of the apple after the trial
0:58.0	Louis G. Mangione is conducted in Manhattan court.
1:02.0	Many issues were discussed today, and this is a contentious case for many reasons, and I think mostly, largely the political nature of it.
1:13.7	And Karen Friedman Ignifalo, the attorney for Luigi Mangione, who happened to be a
1:20.5	Manhattan District Attorney, Assistant District Attorney for 25 years, that's where she cut her teeth
1:26.9	in the law, is now, of course, on the defense side,
1:32.3	no longer on the prosecutorial side.
1:34.4	And she is representing Luigi Mangione.
1:39.6	So interesting to see this.
