As of our last podcast, we had some really excellent news to share.

Neil Clark was nominated for a Hugo for Best Editor Short Form. Also, Catherine and Valenti was

nominated for Hugo for her story silently and very fast, which was the three-parter that we did a couple months ago.

So if you haven't listened to that one, please go do so.

And a twofold congratulations goes out to E. Lily Yu, who was both nominated for

Campbell Award for Best New Writer, which is the award that is fondly called

Nada Hugo and sponsored by Dell magazines.

And for her short story, which was also nominated for Hugo,

the cartographer Wasps and Anarchist Bees.

We give a big congratulations to the Clark's World

nominees and to all of the nominees in each of the fields. Now as promised and to make this podcast a little bit more interactive, I'd like to go through

some of the comments that were left on the website regarding Tom Crosshill's wonderful

short story last April 1st.

And the whole idea about going ahead and doing something like this

is that I want to encourage the listeners of this podcast to interact with one another.

Tom's story had a lot of wonderful comments and I'd like to share them with you.

Randy writes, this story really moved me to write that

humanity seems to always have difficulty with removing oneself

on a relative.
