Oh, man. This time of year, a once a week recording is just not often enough to hear John Hollinger's thoughts. But we got a lot to catch up on. And it'll be fascinating to go through everything. We got the KD trade. We got the Celtics trades. We got the whole draft. We got Kyrie Irving and Fred Van Fleet resigning out.

I don't know if we'll get to all that, but we'll just kind of see where the conversation takes up.

Real quickly, before we begin, I wanted to correct a couple of errors that I had.

I just didn't have it right in my sheet.

I apologize yesterday for making the error.

Kyrie Irving is on a 2 plus 1, 15% trade bonus.

He got the whole boat pretty much from the Mazz, which doesn't surprise me.

Also, again, I think having that player option will actually be maybe good for Dallas.

We'll see if he's still good, though, then he might end up getting an even longer deal

because age is just a number for Nico Harrison.

I guess we could talk briefly since I brought it up about him returning on that

2 plus one, taking a slight haircut this year that gives them space to use the mid-level,

but also he's probably not going to play this year.

Yeah, I mean, that that Kyrie thing is interesting because, I mean,

we've argued that Dallas should just reset now that they got Cooper Flagg.

Yeah.

And it looks like they're just plowing ahead with Kyrie AD and a bunch of bigs playing one position smaller than they ought to be.

Yeah.

I mean, it seemed like this is always where this was going to be headed even before he tore his ACL.

And he had the leverage of the player option.

They weren't going to let him get to free agency next year.

I think it was just kind of a question of the mechanics.
