Hey folks, Uncle Norm here.

After 10 years of reading and publishing weird stories, I mean some really out-there stuff,

you think that almost nothing might surprise a fellow like me at this point, wouldn't you?

I mean, we ran a story about a giant sentient Soviet war squid

having an existential crisis once, for God's sakes,

and the weirdness well has gone deeper than that by far.

But new shades of weirdness of the strange and unexpected

always seems to find a way into our lives,

whether we seek it on the page or experience it ourselves off the page, and for that we should

be grateful even when it makes us a bit uncomfortable.

Weirdness shakes things up.

It breaches the veil of

mondanity in our lives. It challenges us to grow, to see things

differently, and it pushes us to live a more rich and full life. That's what makes weird stories, whether there are favorite works of

fiction or are most remarkable of personal experiences, beautiful in my opinion,

beautiful and terrifying and baffling and inspiring and nauseating and hilarious,

and so many other things.

As I mentioned in last week's episode, which wound up being last month's episode, which was the late holiday episode.

I've had some random health issues making treble cast production and life in general

rather challenging.
