And I'm wondering if you could define for us what social justice parenting is to you.

You kind of coined that term.

Yeah, I think it's just a way that we, the way that we parent is like the way we are very intentional and purposeful in the

way that we're raising our children to really show up for themselves and others. It's about

raising children who are more compassionate, more kind, who believe in the power of activism

Did you know before you had your kids how you wanted to raise them and how you wanted to

approach the issue of race or was it something that you kind of had to develop along the way?

You know, I think I had some ideas just as a black woman, you know, what that may look like for me
