I'm Susie Larson, so honored to get to spend this time with you.

In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk,

that deepen your understanding of God's Word,

and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your life. Well, we've got a great program planned for you

today. Hey, if you've listened to me over the years, you know that I am fascinated by interested in

the connection between our mental, physical, and spiritual health because we so often emphasize

one at the expense of others. Well, my guest today writes this.

Our brains can adapt, change, and rewire with redeemed thinking that frees us from

unnecessary pain and suffering.

This is one of the things I don't want to get to the end of my life and look back and

think God provided all the grace I needed, all of the presence, all the promise I needed, but I destroyed

my own capacity for joy because of self-induced fear, destructive thought patterns, where it was

a self-sapotaging moment because I let my thoughts go rogue. So I want you to hear that again,

because I wonder how many of life's moments that were meant to be precious and a gift to us

passed us by because of our own skilled filter about God, about ourselves and our circumstances.
