Well, I've seen several of your lectures, and I've learned so much from you,

and I think there's so much about melatonin that people do not know and even many doctors and scientists do not know and things that I imagine you have discovered in your career.

How did you get into melatonin research?

Well, if you really want to hear it, it is an interesting story.

Melaton was discovered in 1958 by Dr. Aaron Lerner, a dermatologist.

I, of course, that's the year I graduated from the university, and during my

early career as a graduate student, one of the fellow students gave a lecture on Melaton.

It had just been discovered. I recall leaving the lecture and say, that is a subject on it, I will never work.

Well, two years later, while in the military, there was an emphasis on long-distance space travel because of the Sputnik that had been launched in 1957.
