growing up in America and Yashiva and his influence in America, country. Yeah, the country.

And, and obviously, you know, Turro, one of the largest Jewish colleges out there.

hopefully knocking I will get into Turro after this interview. Our first Dean, like, yeah,

I feel like I'm in trouble right now. But it's an honor to have you and we want to talk to you

about so much about Turro and your life and your experiences, but if you could take us from the

beginning, where you're born and what you're operating. Well, I like to say when I speak to my

children and my grandchildren that I've had a somewhat unusual childhood and upbringing,

because I grew up in three different countries over two continents.

My parents, Ali Emashalam, survived the war in Romania. They were not deported. That's a separate
