When in your situation, while the trauma is so awful that you become overwhelmed, what

happens is that we can't cope with overwhelmed very well.

Our nervous system is just can't cope and that's where people then disconnect from themselves,

they disconnect from their feelings and they describe that experience as depression,

but it's not a disease, it's not an illness, it's just a position of the nervous system.

So I get people who will come to me because they've been referred with depression, right?

And they're on their antidepressants and they come see me for QEC.

And I start looking in the history and we start clearing some of their traumas within

two or three sessions.

They say, I'm not depressed anymore, I'm feeling fine, you know, can I stop my tablets and

I usually say go and see your GP about that, it's not for me to do that, but the so-called

depression which they've had for eight years is suddenly going in two sessions because

what I'm doing is I'm bringing them out of the state of freeze of the autonomic nervous system.

So they're getting back in touch with themselves again, they can feel again, they're alive again.
