Summary

Have you ever realized that your body is speaking to you?   Every inclination, pinch, pain point, and even breakout is a sign that we should acknowledge and respond to. Too often we normalize not feeling well, and push through pain even when we don’t have to. When it comes to our health, our bodies give us so many signs and today’s guest encourages us to get in alignment with our body and pay attention to what it’s trying to tell us.    Dr. Lisa Thornicke is a Chiropractic Doctor specializing in Sports Chiropractic, Extremities, and Functional Nutrition. To do this, I must consider every part of my being. I will no longer neglect my physical health to chase wealth that's made up of only money and material possessions.

I know that without my mental, spiritual, and physical well-being, everything else will be built on a fake, false, and flimsy foundation.

Why I was introduced to you. So let me first say, you know, we've had on this podcast before episode called Listen to Your Body.

And I know for me, I was guilty of, you know, having little pain, little feelings, little something that just didn't feel right, but I would ignore it for longer than I'm, you know, that I want to admit, I would ignore it.

I would keep going and just like push through, you know, I had to push through mentality.

I did that in 2019 before I moved back to Atlanta. I got injured at the gym, as you know, and I was like, oh, my shoulder, it'll be okay. Let me just push through.
