I turned 50 this year, and I think that I have always believed in something.

I just never called it God, but I've always believed in something and had some form of kind of prayer

that I was doing. And there's all these things that I see now in retrospect that were clearly

what I would call the religious components of my life, even though they were not formally

religious in any way.
